Found another earlier photo of headstone with the date very clear as 1893. The other photo the date has weathered and looks to be 1898.
This is from a Newcastle newspaper dated May 26, 1893 Titled "A Terrible Death"
Henry came to Wyoming in 1876 and was one of the oldest settlers in this part of the country. He was engaged in hunting, prospecting and running a sawmill in Stockade Beaver Creek. He was tracking a very large bear when he did not come home, his wife Hannah found his mangled body with 32 bites, 3 miles from his home. He was taken back to his cabin where he was buried.
Hank is buried on Private Property.
Married Hannah Eliza "Annie" Mattice Cameron Nov 24, 1892, Thanksgiving Day
