William "Bill" Sasinoski, 74, of West Deer died Monday (July 7, 2003) in UPMC St. Margaret Hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born January 14, 1929, in Blawnox.

Mr. Sasinoski served in the Navy.

He was a welder for 39 years at Portec, Aspinwall, and for three years at Bon Tool, West Deer.

Mr. Sasinoski was a member of St. Victor Roman Catholic Church, West Deer, where he was an usher, St. Victor Men's Club, The Young and the Restless, of the church, Verona Eagles and Blawnox Sportsman Club.

He enjoyed puzzles, gardening, hunting, fishing, traveling and spending time with his granddaughters.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Lucy Fissore Sasinoski; two daughters, Mrs. Douglas (Carol) Fischer of Hampton and Mrs. Harry (Cathy) Trunbull of West Deer; four brothers, Walter Sasinoski of Springdale, Benny Sasinoski of O'Hara, Fred Sasinoski of Harmar and Albert Sasinoski of Blawnox.

Also surviving are six grandchildren, Heather, Amber and Brittany Trunbull and Victoria, Vanessa and Valerie Fischer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Stella Bielicki Sasinoski; five brothers, Frank, Steve, Eddie, Stanley and Raymond Sasinoski; and a sister, Theresa Westcott.

Friends were received Wednesday at ADAM SIEMIANOWSKI FUNERAL HOME, Starr Road, Russellton, West Deer. Christian Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. today in St. Victor Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert R. Coyne as celebrant. Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer.
