"Virginia Lee Fox, 86, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016.
She was born April 10, 1930 in Hart County, KY, the daughter of Willie and Maymie Coats Adwell. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William "Bill" Fox; sister, Corene Floyd; brothers, Irvin, Orville and Ellis Adwell.
Virginia was a member of Beechwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include her step-son, Gary Day Fox; two sisters, Dorothy Hess and Geneva Stephens; two grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate Virginia's life will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 23, 2016 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Burial will follow at Zachary Taylor National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
