Donald Lee Laws, 85, of Acme, passed away peacefully Sun. Dec. 18, 2016 in the Harman House, Mt. Pleasant. He was born June 25, 1931 in Normalville a son of the late Roy and Pearl Ritenour Laws. Prior to his retirement Don worked as a custodian for the Connellsville Area School District for 19 years. He attended the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Connellsville.
Don will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his loving wife of 59 years, Patricia Lee Brooks Laws, his sister Ferne Clark of Normalville, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Don was predeceased by his sisters Marie Ohler and Mae Rugg, his brother Melvin Laws, and his half brothers Hobart and Earl Weimer.
Family and friends will be received Mon. from 7-9 PM and Tue. from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home Inc. at the corner of route 711 and 146 Municipal Building Rd., Melcroft. where a funeral service will be held Wed. at 11:00 AM. with Pastor Roger Richter officiating, and Pastor Matthew Goldsberry assisting.
