Jenny Wren Stokes Smith, 80, of Gates passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016 at her residence.
Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 PM Monday evening at Garner Funeral Home in Ripley. Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday at Garner Funeral Home with burial to follow in Concord Cemetery near Gates.
Mrs. Smith, a cafeteria worker for Lauderdale County Schools, was a member of Gates Church of God Holiness.
The widow of Johnny Smith, she is survived by a daughter Deborah McFarland of Jackson; 2 sons Johnny Smith Jr. and Tim Smith both of Ripley; a brother James Stokes of Ripley; 2sisters Tiny Bouska of Texas and Quida Scallions of Ripley; 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren
