"Roger was born in Bourbon County, Kentucky but moved to Trimble County, Kentucky, and where he is buried in a family cemetery on the farm. After [Roger's] death [his wife, Elizabeth] lived with her son, Greenberry in Oldham County, Kentucky but at her death in 1869, was taken back for burial beside her husband on the family farm in Trimble County."
NOTE: Cannon provided detail about the burial circumstances of Roger and Elizabeth. He documented that the information was written to him from James N. Wigginton, son of Greenberry Wigginton and grandson of Roger and Elizabeth. Cannon was married to Ida Dawson Wigginton, the great-granddaughter of Roger and Elizabeth.
