Fannie Alexander Creef, 83 of Elizabeth City, NC died Saturday, December 17, 2016 at her residence. She was born June 19, 1933 in Pasquotank County to the late Benjamin Franklin Alexander and Fannie Ballance Alexander and was the widow of the Rev. W. L. “Bill” Creef. She was a homemaker and a member of Berea Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Anya Davis and husband Pat of Camden, NC; two sons, Franklin Creef of the Richmond Area and William Creef of Elizabeth City, NC; two sisters, Affie Bateman of Elizabeth City, NC and Valna Jones of New Hope, NC; a brother, Donald Alexander of Elizabeth City, NC; and two grandchildren, Patrick Davis and Caitlin Davis of Camden, NC. She was pre-deceased by three sisters, Shirley Basnight, Earline Sawyer, and Doloris Chambers; and a brother, Ronald Keith Alexander.
A funeral service will be Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Berea Baptist Church with the Rev. Jason Wise officiating. Burial will be in New Hollywood Cemetery.
