Jens and Marie Larsen, was born
November 12, 1887 in Oster Vraa,
Denmark. She was baptised and
confirmed in the Lutheran church
of Denmark.
She immigrated to the United
States in 1903. The following year
she married Alfred Christensen,
who died in 1915. To them was
born one son, Arnold, now living
in New York City.
In 1919 sho married Jacob Overgaard,
who died in 1952.
Mrs Overgaard lived in the
Newell community for fifty years.
At her death May 27, she left to
mourn her son, Arnold; two grandchildren,
Marjorie and Arnold
Christensen, Jr.; several nephews
and nieces, and many friends.
