Theodore 'Ted' Arendt, age 91, WWII Army Veteran, of Itasca, formerly of Addison, died December 12th at Forest View Nursing Home in Itasca, Illinois.

Visitation will be Sunday Dec. 14 from 2 to 8 PM at Brust Villa Park Funeral Home, 305 S. Princeton, Villa Park. Funeral Services will be held Monday, Dec. 15 with prayers at 9 AM at Brust Villa Park Funeral Home to St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 524 N. Rush St., Itasca, for 10 AM Mass. Interment will be at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to Land of Lincoln Honor Flight, 57 Country Place, Springfield, IL 62702 are appreciated.

Mr. Arendt is survived by 3 daughters, Susan P. (David) Dial of Itasca, Lisa M. (Rick) Aue of Addison and Denise J. Arendt of Bloomingdale; 5 grandchildren, Richard S. (Alyssa) Dial, Jeffrey R. Aue, Jennifer L. Dial, Andrea E. Aue, David A. Dial Jr., one great-grandchild. Mia A. Majerko; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Mr. Arendt is preceded in death by his wife, Mary V. (nee Pawlik), two brothers and one sister. Mr. Arendt was a Veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a great artist and musician. He could fix anything. He loved to garden. He was a proud American. He lived for his family and his Church.
