OBITUARY
Mrs Mary M Hovis Adams was born in Brown county, near Elkinsville, October 20, 1866, and died after an illness of nine months with asthma of the heart.
She was united in marriage to William S Adams in 1896, and to their union were born five children, three girls and two boys, all of whom are living. She united with the Baptist church at the age of 13 at Gorbet’s Chapel.
After short services at the house, the remains were taken to the cemetery at Kurtz for burial. The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of many friends.
