Sharon L. Garner, 58, of 110 S. Arthur Ave., formerly of Princeville, died Wednesday, June 13, 2001, at her residence.
Born Nov. 11, 1942, in Manistique, Mich., to Floyd and Elvera Peterson Holmes, she married Ron Garner on July 16, 1961, in Bartonville. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Ron Jr.; one daughter, Robin (Steven) Cisneros; three grandchildren; three brothers, Donald (Mandy) Holmes, Robert Holmes and Larry (Shirley) Holmes; and one sister, Jean Alexander.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Rhonda Garner on Aug. 22, 1991; two sisters; and one brother.
She worked at Jumer's Castle Lodge for more than 10 years, last working in 1995.
She coordinated several bike-a-thons for Cystic Fibrosis and raised money for Muscular Dystrophy.
