Jeffery Ulysses Wilson, age 48, a longtime resident of Cushing, passed away on December 10, 2016. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing Oklahoma.

Services will be held at the Sac&Fox Community Building in Stroud, Oklahoma Monday December 12, 2016 at 7 p.m. Burial will be Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the Wilson Family Cemetery.

Jeffery was born on June 20, 1968 to James L. and Stella (Grant) Wilson, he grew up in Cushing and attended and graduated Cushing high school in 1987, and Jeff drove a school bus for Cushing high school for a number of years, and then worked as security and in the maintenance department for the Sac&Fox Nation.

Jeff enjoyed spending time volunteering on Tribal committees, singing at powwows, being the MC at powwows and loved being a part of this Tribe. One of his biggest joys were children, especially his nephews, niece and his new granddaughter.

Jeff is survived by his mother: Stella Wilson of the home, one daughter: Cherokee Brown, two brothers: J.J. Wilson and wife Pam of Norman, J Paul Wilson and wife Shelly of Stroud, one grandchild: Izzy Hall, two nephews: Hunter Wilson, and Gabriel Wilson, one niece: Raylin Wilson, and a host of friends, and family.

Jeff is preceded in death by his father: James Wilson, grandparents: Francis Wilson, and Margaret Whitewater, and Austin Grant Sr., and Sara Grant.
