known as Sister M. Francesca.died at the Franciscan Convent in this village, on Tuesday evening last. She had been ill for some three weeks, when she was taken with a congestive chill Monday night, which caused her death. Sister M. Francesca was born in New York and had been in Peekskill twenty-two years. She was known as a woman of a decidedly mechanical turn of mind and was an architect and surveyor of ability. She designed and superintended the erection of many buildings of the Order at other places as well as at Peekskill. She was probably the heaviest woman of this section of the country and this fact contributed to the cause of her death. Her loss will be felt by the Order in general and her associates at the Franciscan Convent. The remains were interred in the Franciscan Cemetery
