Tressie Mae Collum Cartwright died Friday, November 8, 2002, at Baptist Hospital-Montclair in Birmingham. Ala.

A Celebration of Life Service was held on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 7 p.m. at Ridouts Trussville Chapel.
The Funeral was held on Sunday, Nov. 10, at 2 p.m. at Deacon's Funeral Home in Red Bay, AL with Pastor Harold Ozbirn officiating.
Burial was in Burnout Cemetery in Franklin County, Ala.

Mrs. Cartwright was Born August 15, 1927 in Franklin County, AL near Old Shiloh.
The Youngest Daughter of Joe Wheeler Collum and Ona Ozella McAfee Collum.

She was a Homemaker and the Beloved Mother of three Children and two Grandchildren.
She enjoyed Quilting and Gardening and her Flowers, but her first Love was her Family.

She is survived by her Husband of 56 years, William Jennings Cartwright, whom she Married on July 19, 1946; their children, Freida G. Cartwright of Trussville. AL; William J. Cartwright Jr. and Wife, Nora Kuper Cartwright, of Willis, VA; Gary Alan Cartwright and Wife. Wanda Maddox Cartwright, of Ashville, AL; two Sisters, Ara Glaston Collum of Red Bay, AL; and Della Lanell Collum Roberts of Baldwyn, MS; one Brother, Joel Dean Collum and Wife, Mary Ellen Page Collum, of Red Bay: two precious Grandchildren, Trisha Anne Cartwright and Gary Alan Cartwright Jr; a Daughter In Law, Renee Cartwright Person of Water Valley, MS; and many Loved Nieces and Nephews.

She is preceded in death by her Parents. Joe and Ona Collum; one Brother, Arthur Delmar Collum and Wife, Lurline Heavner Collum; two Sisters, Reba Odell Collum Emerson and Husband, Arch Emerson; and Vernice Vuell Collum Stacy and Husband, Glenn Stacy.

Pallbearers were her Nephews and Nephews In Law.
