Christos Christou Jr. is father of 3 and grandfather of 5. Loving father of John, Joseph, Guy and grandfather of John Jr., Samantha, and Sarah, Kayden, and Guy. Brother of Tammy, Dimitrios, John, Joseph and David.

Author of numerous articles and books including The Prominent Families of Augusta County and Rockingham Co VA, The Beckett Family of Cabell County, The Almony Family of Maryland and Pennsylvania, The Prominent Families of Kent County Maryland, Kent County MD Wills (2 Vols), Colonial Families of the Eastern Shore (Vol. 4), Maryland Casualties of the War of 1812 with Henry Peden, Maryland Regulars in the War of 1812 with Eric Johnson, and numerous articles in the Maryland Genealogical Society Bulletin and other hereditary and genealogical societies.

He attended Patterson High School, The Community College of Baltimore, Loyola College of Baltimore (now University). He was well educated and a history buff giving talks at numerous venues on history especially genealogy, American Revolution and War of 1812 - his favorite topics. He had a great sense of humor and a wide circle of close friends. He was a hard worker immersing fully in anything he did. He was an ordained Minister and Notary Public for the State of Maryland since 1988. He loved to learn various ancient languages - Greek and Latin. He loved to learn. Love his family and lived by his motto. Live, Love, Learn and Leave a Legacy.

He is an active genealogist and member of numerous historical societies.

The 83rd President of the Maryland State Society Sons of the American Revolution from 2006-2007 (and its youngest in their history since its founding in 1889) and with 31 documented Patriot ancestors (3rd highest number in MDSSAR. His son Guy is 1st with 50)

The 60th President of the War of 1812 Society in the State of Maryland from 2012-2015. Founded in 1814 but the Society leadership started 1841. Was President during the big Bicentennial celebrations and the bylaws were changed to allow him to run for more than 2 consecutive years. A Life Member and has 6 documented patriot ancestors.

The 15th and 17th Senior President of the Thomas Johnson Society, Maryland State Children of the American Revolution from 2008-2010 and 2016-2018. National was founded in 1895 and Thomas Johnson Society was founded in 1968.
