Diana Harnett Pacey, age 62 of Sevierville, departed this life on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by those she loved most dearly.

The daughter of Charles and Greta Harnett, she was born in Ramstein, Germany on March 14, 1954 and spent her early years in Springfield, Illinois. At a young age, she moved with her family to Orlando, Florida, where she graduated from Lyman High School and attended Seminole Community College. She lived in Charlotte, NC for a time before moving back to Orlando. In 1987, she moved to Sevierville to be close to family.

She spent her career in the field of human resources, serving in related capacities for several corporations, including Charles T. Main and Assoc. (Charlotte, NC), Tennessee State Bank, Knoxville Chamber of Commerce and, most recently M. Block and Sons, Inc. in Jefferson City, TN. Her hobbies included gardening and crafts, and she had a passion for music. She was the first-ever female member of the Pigeon Forge Rotary Club, an honor which brought her great pride. She made a cultural exchange trip to Brazil in 1990 on the Club's behalf.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Greta Harnett, and her brother, Jonathan Harnett. She is survived by brothers, Ronald Harnett of Denver, CO, David (Paige) Harnett of Knoxville, TN; nephew, Matthew Harnett, niece, Kristen Harnett and their mother Maria Harnett, all of Knoxville.

The family will receive friends 1-2 PM Sunday, December 11th with a celebration of life service to follow at 2 PM in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville.
