Mrs. Edna Bain passed from this life December 7, 2016 at NHC Healthcare of Sparta. She was the wife of the late Leslie W. Bain and mother of three children Shirley (Denny) Greenwood of Sparta, Kenny Bain of Sparta, and Mitchell Bain of Walling. She was preceded in death by husband, Leslie and her son Mitchell Bain.
She is survived by two children, Shirley (Denny) Greenwood, one son, Kenny Bain. One grandchild, Kelly Greenwood (Kelly Lynn) Key, two great-grandchildren, Madison H. Sparkman, and Macy Amber Key. Madison and Macy were the loves of her life.
Also surviving are special nieces, Maxine Humphrey of Prattville, Alabama, Grace Ferdon of Crestview, Florida, Jennie Qualls of Sparta, JoAnn Maynard of Sparta. One special nephew, Paul H. (Louise) Tindle of McMinnville. She is also survived by her beloved sister-in-law, Emmadel Bain. Several other nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral service will be conducted 2:00pm Friday, December 9,at Spring Hill The Baptist Church in the Central View Community, 300 Spring Hill Road, Walling, Tennessee. Family will receive friends from 1pm until 2pm. Interment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bobby Bain, Edgar Steve Bain, Barry Brady, Steve Howell, Donald Humphrey and Barry Gooch.
