Jane Clarresse Harrison Hardin, 81, passed away Monday, December 5, 2016 at the John F. Keever Solace Center in Asheville.

A native of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Albert Benjamin Harrison and Mattie Robert Smart Harrison. She was also preceded in death by eight siblings.

Mrs. Hardin was a member of Emma's Grove Baptist Church and retired from Beacon Industries after many years of service.

Surviving are her sister, Wilma Eugenia Harrison Brooks of Newport News, VA; stepchildren, Evelyn Long and husband, Hoyle of Forest City, Brenda Neal and husband, Vic of Spindale and Marvin Spencer Hardin of Spindale and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial graveside services will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 2:00 pm Emma's Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Gene King officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
