He was the husband of Myrtle Taylor Carr with whom he celebrated his 71st wedding anniversary on June 15.
Born in Warrington, he was a son of the late William W. and Ida Mae Smith Carr.
Mr. Carr had been an active farmer in Erwinna from 1945 until his retirement in 1977.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, William W. Carr
of Quakertown; four daughters, Myrtle A. Mosher of Jacksonville, Fla., Mary Lou Humlhanz of Doylestown, Shirley Ann Myers of Danboro and Florence Bowen of Tennessee; one sister, Ida Mae West of Florida; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
His funeral service will be at the Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Road, Warrington. Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
