Mr. Drake was born July 13, 1920, in Danville, a son of Elmer F. and Cora E. Miller Drake. He married Vera L. Hunley on Jan. 11, 2003, in Danville. She survives.
Also surviving are a son, Harold Drake Jr. of Danville; a daughter, Billie Pruitt of Bismarck; two stepchildren; three sisters, Dorothy Trinkle, Anna Ford and Rosemary Baker, all of Danville; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Mr. Drake served in the Army during World War II.
He was a tool and die maker at Hurleton until he retired. He was a member of Danville American Legion Post 210 and enjoyed fishing, gardening and camping.
