Born October 26, 1917, in Fairbury, IL, a daughter of Andrew F. and Martha F. Kreie Kilgus, Evelyn married Ralph E. Nolte on November 2, 1946, in Peoria. He died February 18, 1983, in Peoria. Also preceding Evelyn in death were two brothers and three sisters.
Surviving are two daughters, Normi (Frank) Howard and Diane (Terry) Spuler.
During World War II, Evelyn worked at Caterpillar and also served in India with the American Red Cross.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.
