Leland Fredrick "Lee" Inlow, passed away Tuesday evening, November 15th at Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Webb & Rodrick Chapel and Crematory, Independence, Kansas. Graveside service for Lee will be held Friday, November 18, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Elk City, Kansas. Memorials in memory of Lee can be made to The First United Methodist Church, Elk City, Kansas, 67344 or may be left with the chapel.
Lee Inlow was born August 7, 1936 in Wichita, Kansas to Lawrence and Lola (Owen) Inlow. He spent his younger years in the Wichita and Elk City, Kansas areas and went to Elk City High School where he met Sue Kimrey. They married June 4, 1955 and to this union four children were born.
Mr. Inlow was a truck driver and logged over a million miles. He owned and operated his own truck before retiring. Lee loved his children and grandchildren and loved spending time with them. He also liked to camp, garden, and "putter" around in his garage and yard. He also loved to study the bible and bible history and liked to discuss history and ancestry.
Lee is survived by his wife, Sue, of the home in Copan, Oklahoma; daughter Debbie Gilley, Copan, Oklahoma; sons, Curt Inlow, Copan, Oklahoma, Loren Inlow, Bartlesville, Oklahoma; brother, Bob Inlow, Copan, Oklahoma. Also surviving are grandchildren: David Jones, Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Bobby Jones and wife, Andrea, Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Kandy Inlow and partner, John Corle, Nowata, Oklahoma; and David Inlow and wife, Angela, Dewey, Oklahoma. Great grandchildren include: Kaitlynne, Matthew, and Amber Jones; Thomas, Samantha, Devon Walters; and Jesse Inlow. Numerous neice, and nephews are surviving. Preceding him in death were his parents, Lawrence Inlow, and Lola Davis; sister, Velma Edington Hamm; son, Steve Inlow; and daughter-in-law, Deborah Adams Inlow.
