Services for Robert B. May, 27, and his son, Craig Douglas, 8 months, will be Thursday in Munster.
May, a member of the U.S. Navy, and his son died June 15 in a fire in the May home, 216 7th St., Honolulu, Hawaii.
Dr. R. Colvin Williams will officiate at 1:30 p.m. in the Burns Funeral Home, 8415 Calumet Ave., Munster. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Personnel Corps will participate.
May is survived by his wife, Isabella; his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Keith J. Long of Munster; three brothers, Ronald and William Long of Munster, James May of Park Forest, Ill.; a sister, Mary Katherine Long of Munser, paternal grandmother, Mrs. Velia May, of Ardmore, Okla.
He was a 1957 graduate of Hammond High School. He was an electronics technician aboard the Atomic Submarine Benjamin Franklin.
Calling hours will be from 8 to 10 p.m. today.
