Card, Joan, Kawkawlin, Michigan, Formerly of Saginaw. Mrs. Card, age 66 years, passed away October 23, 2003 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born in Detroit on March 16, 1937 to the late Charles & Wilma (Strawer) Kuhn-Gaertner. She married William Card on May 25, 1957 in Saginaw. He survives her. Joan and Bill owned and operated Kaders Party Store Bay City, and she was a former member of Second Presbyterian Church of Saginaw. She loved gardening, yard work, baking and cooking. In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Julie (Keith) Davis of Merrill and Cheri Card of Bay City; son, Timothy Card of Califorina; three grandchildren, Catherine Griffus, Michelle and Michael Davis; brother, Charles (Carol) Kuhn of Saginaw. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Patricia Card and Cathy Card. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. from Rivertown Funeral Chapel, 209 S. Huron Road, Kawkawlin with Rev. James R. Neumann presiding with burial in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral chapel on Sunday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday from 2:00 top 5:00 p.m.and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Family requests memorials for Second Presbyterian Church or Cystic Fibrosis.
