August 19, 1949 – November 23, 2016
Dan was born in Oklahoma City and graduated from Edmond High in 1967 where he met and married the love of his life, Barbara, they have been married 44 years. Dan worked during the oil boom at Arrow Pipe Service from 1973-1981 and then started his own company, Broken Arrow Pipe in 1981 through the bust of 1985. For the past 29 years Dan has helped buyers & sellers with their real estate needs.
Dan never met a stranger and took every opportunity to shake a hand or give a hug. He loved his family, daughter Lezel Safi, her husband Rick and his grandchildren Ariana, Evan and Tye Hill, sister Kate and many cousins, nieces & nephews.
Dan fought a hard battle without complaining and was thankful to all that helped him along the way.
He is proceeded in death by his son, Tye and his grandson Ian. Dan always shared a hug when leaving family and friends and can still be heard saying “Love & Peace”.
Join us to celebrate Dan’s life on Tuesday November 29th at 11:00 Life Church Edmond. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to ADAO.org Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization.
