Ludwig was founder of Pustejovsky Motor Company in Hallettsville with his brother Fred. Several years after relocating to Port Lavaca, he founded the Port Auto Clinic which he operated with his wife Louise until his retirement. Then he returned to the family farm in Hallettsville. He was a member of the Knight of Columbus in Port Lavaca.
Ludwig was preceded in death by: wife Louise (December 28, 1999); grandson Arlyn Lienemann; 2-sisters Vlasta and Justina Pustejovsky; brother Julius Pustejovsky; and 3-son-in-laws, Billy Wayne Johnson, S.R. McMasters, and Donald Lenertz.
Service: 10:30am, Monday, June 12, 2006 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville. Officiate: Rev. John Peters. Rosaries: 6pm, Sunday at Kubena Funeral Home, and 10am, Monday at Sacred Heart Church. Visitation: 3pm, Sunday at Kubena Funeral Home. Burial: Pustejovsky Memory Garden.
