SHELBY — Mr. Kenneth Leon Littlejohn, affectionately known as "Kent Kent" was born to Annie Littlejohn and the late Billy Gene on Feb. 18, 1969.
Kenneth left this earth suddenly and went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 6, 2006.
Kent Kent joined Young's Grove Baptist Church at an early age. He worked odd jobs and helped many families and friends within the community. Kent Kent did not meet any strangers. Everyone he met was either friend or family to him. He was someone you could call upon for help and he would be right there.
The joys of his life were his children and family. He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory, his mother, Annie Mae Littlejohn, of the home; seven children, Candance Borders, Derwin Littlejohn, Darius Littlejohn, Robert Black, Katarra Littlejohn, De'Vonte Littlejohn and Amauria Archie, all of Shelby; one grandchild, La'Kiya Black, of Shelby; four sisters, Debra Littlejohn-Smart (Calvin) of Lexington, Cara Littlejohn of Raleigh, Sonja Littlejohn of Shelby and Nicole Gettys of Shelby; one brother, Billy Littlejohn Jr. of Shelby; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and friends.
