"Carl D. Craig, 54, died Jan. 1 in his home. Born in East Stroudsburg, he was a son of Pauline (Shoenberger) Craig of Kunkletown and the late Archie D. Craig. He was a graduate of Pleasant Valley High School, Brodheadsville, and Churchmans Business College, Easton. He had worked at Supradur, Wind Gap, for 21 years. He was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Trachsville, and Slate Belt United States Bowling Congress Association.
Survivors: Mother; four brothers, Archie O. Craig and Donald A. Craig, both of Kunkletown, Gerald R. Craig of Lehighton, Dale R. Craig of Souderton; sister, Sylvia Gethen of Brodheadsville; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Altemose and Janet Craig.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Jerusalem Lutheran Church, 500 Church Drive, Palmerton, with Rev. Leon Zinkler officiating. Burial will be in Towamensing Cemetery, Palmerton. A viewing will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services in the church. Arrangements, Kresge Funeral Home, Route 209, Brodheadsville.
