Jerel Darlene was the daughter of Luther Earl Baker and Evelyn Ruth Levell, having a sister Marilyn.

She married Carl Melvin Linton on March 12, 1968. She took great pride in her home and decorating.

Darlene couldn't get enough of going to the beaches and relished her private time reading or visitng on the phone. A woman you could always count on.

She was always a sincerely conscientious, diligent worker, energetic, vibrant, loved to laugh, and was forever faithful. She worked in the bookkeeping department for the Lee Co. Sheriff's Office, Ft. Myers, FL.

She loved life like no other! She missed her daddy so and took great care of her mom, Evelyn, and grandmother, Dora.

Carl and Darlene had two children, David and Sandra, producing wonderful grandkids for them to enjoy.

Darlene was taken way too soon from her journey, before she was ready, and unfortunately died from luekemia while living in North Fort Myers, FL.
