Roger C. Seal was born in Colorado Springs, CO on November 5, 1950. He left this earth January 3, 2007 to be with his sister Frances, and brother, Dana. He fought valiantly against throat cancer and died peacefully in his sleep at home in Denver, CO. He is survived by his mother Tina Norman, his brother Larry Seal, sister, Jeanie Davee, and his ex-wife Doris Seal. He had two beautiful daughters, Shelly Tombleson and Julie Berkhoff, and a wonderful son, John Daugherty. Together his children gave him 17 grandchildren. He was "Papa Roger" to countless other grandchildren of friends. He is also survived by numerous extended family members. Roger was a stone carver by trade and his life's work is well known around the world. He instructed the stone cutting art in Marble, CO as well as surrounding states. His monuments are in countless cemeteries in Colorado, and other states. His carvings are on display at various universities and numerous parks throughout Colorado. He loved to go dancing to country music, bluegrass festivals and draft horse pulls. Viewing will be on Friday January 5, 2007 from 4:00pm till 8:00 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd. Services will be Saturday 1:00 pm January 6, 2007 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 1830 E. Fountain Blvd.
