Robert Adamson, 81, 819 Sherman Ave., died May 8, 1949 in a Salt Lake hospital at 5:55 p.m. of a heart ailment.
He was born Nov. 19, 1886 (sic) in Salt Lake City. After spending his early youth in Salt Lake City, he moved to Eureka, Juab county, where he was a miner.
He married Mary Isabel Hill in Oregon Feb. 5, 1888. She died in 1947.
For several years he was an employee of Utah Light and Traction Co. He also worked as a bricklayer and a carpenter before the turn of the century.
Surviving are three sons, Frank and Leo Adamson, Salt Lake City; Howard Adamson, Albany, Ga.; four daughters, Mrs. Janie Lloyd, Berkeley, Calif.; Mrs. Ethel Brailsford, Provo; Mrs. Thelma Paterson and Mrs. Loraine Lindsey, Salt Lake City; two brothers, LeRoy Adamson, Long Beach, Cal.; Harry H. Adamson, Salt Lake City; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Wardrop, Salt Lake City; 37 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
