Freda Miller was born September 19, 1929 to Fred Wesley Hilliard, Sr and Hazel Leona Prettyman. She was the eldest of six children and lived in the Grove Oklahoma area most of her life. She worked as a clerk at Ham's (Bradshaw's) in Wyandotte and was a cook at Turkey Ford Elementary for many years. She was raised the Friends Quaker faith and taught Sunday School for many years at the Council House Friends Church in Wyandotte. She was also a seamstress for the community and a homemaker. She worked at one time as a veterinary assistant as well.
Freda married Charles Herb Miller March 3, 1957 in Pineville Missouri and had five children. She and Charles divorced several years later, she was his second wife. She had 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Freda was preceded in death by both parents, one brother: Fred Wesley Hilliard, Jr "Junie", two sisters: Linda McKibben and Maedine "Diddie" Hicks, one niece Vanessa Hilliard, and great-grand daughter Maddox Blaine "Maddie" Hatfield.
Freda is survived by two siblings Donna Jackson and Truman Hilliard, all five children: Gary Miller and wife Martha, Sharon Armstrong and husband Dennis, Don Miller and wife Suzette, Karen Hatfield and Terry Miller and wife Kenna. Grandchildren that survived: Jessica Hatfield, Nicole Barnes, Travis Hatfield, Angelica Miller, Destiny Harrison, Jason Hatfield, Chris Miller, Heather Conduff, Haley Conduff, Ariel Miller, Taylor Miller, and Wesley Miller; great grandchildren that survive: Kobe and Kiara Warren, Avangeline and Annabelle Harris, Makayla and Mason Hatfield, Shawna Bearpaw, Anthony Armstrong, Brendan Arneecher, Parker Barnes, Dierks Hatfield, Brenda Sullivan and Audrey Hatfield.

Freda was cremated in Tulsa OK and Interment is at Council House Church Cemetery next to her parents. Services were held December 2, 2016 at Council House Church with Vince Gonzalez officiating. A dinner was held at the church following services.

"Life is eternal and love is immortal. And death is only a boundary line...and a boundary line is nothing, Just the limit of our sight."
