Christine Breen Wells, 85, wife of Martin Gilbert (Pete) Wells, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016 in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born August 28, 1931 in Scott County, Kentucky to the late Trustin Davis and Viola Humphrey Breen. She was a member of Gano Baptist Church and a member of the Rebecca Sunday School Class. She was an employee of the KY Dept. of Corrections and retired after 32 years. Christine loved her family and her church.
Along with her husband, she is survived by her son, Randall (Angie Shearer) Wells of Georgetown, Kentucky, her granddaughter, Christie Ann (Brian) Boone of Glasgow, Kentucky, and her great-grandchildren, Rebecca Catherine Boone and Colton Davis Boone. She is also survived by a special caregiver, Loretta Centers. She is preceded in death by sisters and brothers, Arnetta Bartley, Daisy Mae Wise, Everett Breen, and Jewell Wright.
Services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, at the funeral home with Rev. Harry Hargis and Rev. Rob Muncy officiating. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Terry Wise, Ricky Wise, Willie Breen, Brian Boone, Ronnie Bartley, Kenneth Wasson, and Bob Young. Honorary pallbearers are Deacons of Gano Baptist Church.
