Worked for the railroad up the C&O line. Heard he was quite a character. Always a lot of fun and full of love. They called him Popu. He liked to burn his grass as well as his trash. One year he forgot where he buried the bullets and . . . I wished I had been able to meet my great-grand father. He also served as a Lay Minister for the Baptist Church.
