Mr. Brower, son of the late Edward Brower and wife Helen nee Kethcart was born September 18, 1948 in West Plains, Missouri.
Mr. Brower proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1969 receiving an honorable discharge.
On November 14, 1970 he was united to his first wife, Kathy Goss in West Plains. On June 27, 1987 he was united in marriage to Linda Chrisco in Salem, Missouri.
He worked for Ozark Asphalt in West Plains for many years. In 1997 he started driving an over the road truck until he was forced to retire in 2012 because of health reasons.
Mr. Brower was a member of the VFW Post 2661 in Washington, Missouri. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and taking in a round of golf. He had a great sense of humor, life of the party and always had good jokes.
Mr. Brower was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Helen Brower; two brothers, Chester Ray Brower and Gerald “Bim” Brower; one sister, Rebecca Lee Lake and two infant siblings.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Brower of Washington; two daughters, Rhonda Graves and husband Chad of West Plains and Amanda Jakob of Washington; two brothers, Gordon “Doug” Brower and wife Jo of Pomona and Louie Dean Brower and wife Tammy of Pomona, MO; five sisters, Virginia Mitchell of South Eldgon, IL, Janice Fritts and husband Kenneth of Pomona, MO, Marcella McMercury and husband Larry of West Plains, Karen Kay Havens of Willow Springs, MO and Debbie Vigadal of Thayer, MO; five grandchildren, McKenzie Brower, Johnathon Jakob, Brady Jakob, Lynzie Branneky and Billy Jakob; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
