Funeral services for Helen Lucille Brower, 80, Pomona, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2000, in the Rose Chapel of the Robertson-Drago Funeral Home of West Plains.
Mrs. Brower died 6:55a.m. Sunday at West View Home.
She was born Aug. 25, 1920, at Verdigre, Neb., the daughter of William and Carrie Bergman Kethcart.
On Nov 20, 1939, she was married in Howell County to Edward Cyril "Bud" Brower, who preceded her in death Sept. 17, 1974.
Mrs. Brower was of the Baptist faith with her membership in the Mt. Zion Church, Olden.
Survivors include 10 children, Janice Fritts and husband, Kenneth, Doug Brower and wife, Jo, and Louie Brower and wife, Tami, all of Pomona, Marcella McMurtrey and husband, Larry, and Debbie Vigdal and husband, James, all of West Plains, Ronnie Brower and wife Linda, Salem, Mo., Gerald Brower and wife, Doris, and Karen Havens and husband, James, all of Willow Springs, Virginia Mitchell, Elgin, Ill., and Rebecca Lake and husband Carroll, Batesville, Ark.; a daughter-in law, Judy Meyers, West Plains; 21 grandchildren; three step grandchildren;28 great-grandchildren; 11 step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Chester Ray "Pete" Brower and George Edward Brower; an infant daughter; four brothers; and two sisters.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Cemetery and left at the funeral home.
The body will lie in state noon Tuesday until service time at the funeral home. Family Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
