Mrs. Lillian Garrison Brooks, a 50-year Canton resident who came here from Lansing, Mich., died Thursday afternoon in the Mayflower nursing home where she had been staying the last several years. She was 85.
She was born in Alliance, a daughter of the late Wesley B. and Mary Painter Garrison.
The widow of William E. Brooks who died in 1953, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Samuel (Aline) Adams of Houston, Tex.; two sons, Joseph (Marjorie) and Walter (Wilma) Brooks of Canton; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America.
