GLASS – Raymond Ronald "Brownie" Glass, 89 years old, a son of Albert C. and Gladys (Justus) Glass, passed away Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016 at London Health and Rehabilitation.
He was born Jan. 14, 1927.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Gladys (Justus) Glass; brothers, Robert Glass (Raymond's twin brother), Everett Glass, Edwin Glass; sisters, Virgie Glass Hoffine and Dorothy Glass Ash.
Survived by brothers, John (June) Glass, Ted (Brenda) Glass; sisters, Wanetta Glass Wolford, Leah (Robert) Glass Findlay, Rose Glass Gross, Fairy Louise Glass; and many nieces and nephews.
Brownie worked for others - plowing, baling hay, blacktopping - as well as helping his mom and family build a new house in the early 1960s. He enjoyed his John Deere tractors and he liked playing his harmonica.
The family will receive friends at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main St., London, at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 21 and the funeral will be at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tracy Dague officiating. Burial will follow in Plumwood Cemetery.
