GLASS -- Everett Albert Glass, 85, of Columbus, passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 6, 2015 at his residence.
Born Aug. 18, 1930 in Plumwood, Ohio. Member of the Ohio National Guard prior to being called up to the U.S. Army serving duringthe Korean War1947-1953 in the 37th Infantry Division.
He had worked for Ranco of Plain City for many years.
Preceded in death by parents, Albert and Gladys (Justus) Glass; brothers, Robert Glass, Edwin Glass; sisters, Virgie Glass Hoffine, Dorothy Ash.
Survived by his children, Mitchell Glass, Marcus Glass, Melissa (Tim) Korona; grandchildren, Christopher Law, Kelsey Korona, Katelin Korona; brothers, John (June) Glass, Ted (Brenda) Glass, Raymond "Brown" Glass; sisters, Juanita Glass Wolford, Leah Bell Findley, Rose Glass Gross, Fairy Glass.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 15, at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main St. (State Route 161 W.), Plain City, where the funeral will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2015. Burial Plumwood Cemetery with Union County Honor Guard conducting full military honors.
