Lois May Freier, of Red Wing, lost her courageous battle with cancer, on Monday, November 14, 2016, at the St. Crispin Living Community in Red Wing. She takes with her the hearts of her family and friends and her beloved, Don. She lived her life to the fullest, in high heels, lipstick, earrings and smiles for everyone. She was always at the post office sending off cards to those in need. Lois greatly loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild. There are so many wonderful memories. She taught us how to live, love and give to others. She was a member of the Church of St. Joseph, where her faith was strong.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Vicki (Dennis Dahn) Mills of Lakeville, Bonnie (Earl) Henry of Farmington, Patricia (Duane) Peterson of Moeville, Wis. and Gene (Michelle) Freier of Eagan; 3 grandchildren, Michelle (Kevin), Stephanie and Rachel; 7 great-grandchildren, Natasha (Brandon), Alex, Samantha, Christian, Colton, Madelyn and Moriah; a great-great-grandson, Braeden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rynold C. Freier; her parents; a sister; 2 brothers; 2 grandchildren; 3 brothers-in-law; 2 sisters-in-law and many loving friends.

Mass of the resurrection will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, at the Church of St. Joseph in Red Wing with Father Terry Beeson presiding. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Miesville. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials are preferred to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

The family would like to thank the staff of St. Crispin for all of their loving care given to Lois, Don and to her family. Special thanks also to Dr. Kajewski, Red Wing Mayo Clinic Hospice, Pastor Todd Spieker of Bethel Covenant Church, Father Terry Beeson and Father Thomas M. Kommers.
Arrangements handled by Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
