Jimmy Ray Barnett, 67, of Woodruff, SC, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at his home.

Husband of Susan Sosbee Barnett; son of the late Francis Wilburn Barnett and Helen Freda Floyd Barnett.

Served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam War; lifetime member of the VFW Post 9539.

Former employee of Southern Railroad, attended Antioch Baptist Church, but most of all loved his animals and family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Keith Barnett (Christie) of Woodruff; a daughter, Charna Henson of Boiling Springs; one sister, Kay Osborne (Scott) of Woodruff; and four grandchildren, Hunter Barnett, Morgan Barnett, Quinn Barnett and Bryson Tyson.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Patty Stankus.

Visitation was held 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the JK Yarborough Mortuary.

A celebration of life was held 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2016 at the JK Yarborough Mortuary Chapel.
