Age 75. passed away this morning in St. Mary's Hospital. Mr. Rapps was born in Racine on May 20, 1876, and had lived in this city all of his life. On June 8, 1910, he was married to the former Ida Holm. Before his retirement, he had been employed at the J. I. Case Co. for 55 years. He was a member of the Case 20-Year Club, was a member of the Knights of Pythias for 50 years and was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Surviving are his wife Ida; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Jean) Zierten; five grandchildren; one sister, Miss Carrie Rapps. Funeral services will be held Saturday 10 am, in the Krug Funeral Home, conducted by the Knights of Pythias and Fraternal Order of Eagles. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery. Friends may call at the Krug Funeral Home Friday afternoon and evening and until service time Saturday.
