David Keith Karnes, 68, of Baltimore, Ohio, passed Sunday, November 13, 2016 at the Mount Carmel East Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
He was born May 2, 1948 in Norwalk, Ohio, the son of the late Walter Oliver Karnes and Merrill (Condon) Karnes. On August 8, 2000, David was united in marriage to Janine (Pratt) Karnes of Baltimore, Ohio.
Also surviving are his two sons, of Washington C.H., Ohio, a stepson and wife of Apple Grove, WV, two grandchildren, a brother and wife of Salem, Oregon and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
David was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the U.S. Navy, life member of the V.F.W. Post #1060, N.R.A., Hog Club, and member and past president of Rolling Thunder Chapter #10.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Howe Wheeler Boyer Hornback Funeral in Piketon, Ohio. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery with Military Services being conducted by the American Legion Merritt Post #142.
Friends may call at the Howe Wheeler Boyer Hornback Funeral from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
