ELKADER, la - Lyle W. Barthel, 71, of Elkader, a retired postmaster, died Thursday night at Central Community Hospital here.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Witt Funeral Home, where friends may call. Burial will be in the East Side Cemetery here.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Otto (Beatrice) Weisner of Holland, Mich., and Mrs. William (Gladys) Hunt of Estherville, la.
