Maxine (Brashears) Boswell passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016 at the Meridian Nursing Home of Duncan, Oklahoma at the age of 85.
She was born to Roy and Ivy Brashears on April 25, 1931 in Lindsay, Oklahoma. She married Albert Boswell on September 20, 1931. They were married for 57 years until his passing in 2007.
Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Linda, two sisters, Allene and Mary Ann and one great-granddaughter. She is survived by 7 children Doyle of Cox City, Louise of Cox City, Kenneth of Maysville, David of Lindsay, Melinda of Perryton, Texas, Bobby of Chickasha and Betty of Maysville. She was blessed with eleven grandchildren: Sherri, Cheryl, Christopher, Francis, Robert, Daniel, Rayburn, Jennifer, Amber, James and David Jr. She was also blessed with twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was a devoted Christian, loving Mother and a homemaker.
Graveside services for Mrs. Boswell are set for two o'clock p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Green Hill Cemetery, located off of Highway 77 in Davis, Oklahoma with Pastor Scott Wilbourn officiating. Services are under the direction of B. G. Boydston Funeral Home of Lindsay, Oklahoma.
