Marilyn Anne Sexton, 81, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2016, at her daughter's home. She was the loving wife of the late James F. Sexton, with whom she shared 44 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2001.
Born in Toledo, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Jean Rettew Floyd.
Marilyn was an employee and volunteer at the Surgery Desk at Paoli Hospital for over 10 years. She lived at Downing Forge and was a member of the book club, President of the Social Club and was part of the Canasta Group. She enjoyed traveling, liked to stay current with politics, technology, world news and trends.
Most of all, she loved being with her family and grandchildren. Marilyn is survived by her four daughters, Holly Pfanders (Frank), Cindy Campo (Greg), Amy Erdman (Matt) and Susan Marks (Eric). She is also survived by two brothers, Robert (Joanne) and James (Wendy) Floyd; two sisters, Barbara McGowan (James) and Nancy Harshman (the late Paul); 10 grandchildren, Nick, Chris, Ben, Elizabeth, Tyler, Taylor, Katie, Zack, Ryan and Ashley; a great grandchild, Elijah and by a dear companion, Alex Lelli. Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, November 19, 2016 at St. Joseph Church, 338 Manor Avenue, Downingtown, where family and friends may call from 9:00-10:00 am.
Interment will be private with the family.
