Obituary from Orleans County Hub:BROCKPORT/HOLLEY – Helen M. Persia, 99, died Sat., Nov. 12, 2016 at Lakeside Beikirch Care Center in Brockport. She was born Aug. 10, 1917 in Brockport, a daughter of the late Arthur and Florence (Phoebe) Cole.
Helen graduated from Brockport High School and worked at the Holley Junior High School for many years in the cafeteria.She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Holley.
She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Persia, in 2004. She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Michael) Campbell of Kendall; sons, Donald (Judy) Persia of Hauppauge, N.Y., Berly “Skip” (Viola) Persia of Troy, N.Y.; and eight grandchildren. She was known and loved by all of her 18 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
