He was born in Tioga County, Pennsylvania, April 12, 1911(?), and died June 18, 1899, age 85 years, 2 months and 6 days.
He was married to Almira Daily in 1841(?) and came to Cambridge in 1856(?).
To them were born eleven children(?), four girls and seven boys.
Seven of the children survive him:

Alanson;
Eugene A.;

Ellen L. Talbot;
