Friday, September 12, 1890 edition:

"Almira, the wife of Israel Palmer, died at their home in Cambridge last Sunday at half past five, aged 66 years and 17 days.
Almira Daily was born in Bradford County, Pennsylvania August 21st, 1824, was married to Israel Palmer September 12th, 1843(?) at Wellsborough, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, and with her husband, came to Henry County in September 1855(?), where they resided until the time of her death.
She was the mother of twelve(?) children, seven of whom were still living.
The names of those children were:
Charles E. of Gilman, Iowa;
George H. of Centerville, Iowa;
Alanson A. of Cambridge;
Eugene E. of Cambridge;
John V. of Cambridge;
Ella L, wife of Daniel Talbot, of Cambridge;
and
Esther J, wife of Wm. Woodward, of Bradford, Illinois"

A son Clarence died November 20, 1887.
Also there was a son who was born in 1869 and died August 15, 1871.
