She married Samuel L. Adams 18 Jun 1947 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Together they were blessed with 4 children. Samuel passed away in 2007.
Holidays and birthdays were always made special for her family. Her home was always a wonderful place for the family to gather and celebrate. She was always so thoughtful of others and always looked for ways she could help those in need. She sent birthday cards to all her nephews and nieces with a crisp new dollar bill in it and they loved her dearly for the remembrance.
She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in many positions. She truly believed families are forever and wanted to live worthy to be an eternal family. She was a great example of living the gospel.
Melba loved sports and spent many hours watching the Colorado Rockies. She was an avid BYU fan and enjoyed watching the games with family members. She always tried to attend all sporting events of her children and grandchildren. She had many talents. She was very organized, great with finances and enjoyed keeping a journal. Her family members were recipients of beautiful afghans and doilies she made. She made scrapbooks for her children and grandchildren. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed being a mother and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a brother, Byron T. Moore and two sisters, Dorothea M. Kidman and Donna M. Turley and many other loved ones.
